If you want to look young and beautiful, you better take care of the delicate skin around your eyes. The skin right around the eyes is the most fragile area of the face. Unless you take good care of it, it will age faster than the rest of your face and make you look much older than you are unnecessarily. So how do you find a good eye wrinkle cream that works? 

First off, beware of scams.  There are hundreds of untrustworthy companies online touting their eye wrinkle creams as the latest fountain of youth and selling them for hundreds of dollars. They may claim endorsement from Oprah or some Oprah guest, Dr. Oz for example. 99.9% of the time these claims are false.

These companies usually have a free trial offer where they let you try the eye wrinkle cream free for 30 days and then charge you once the trial is over. The eye wrinkle creams themselves are usually very steeply priced (upwards of $150 sometimes!) and once the charges start they are recurring. Don’t fall for this scheme! These companies make their money on people that forget to cancel their trial - and most people do. Once they have your credit card information you’ll have to jump through hoops to get them to stop charging you if you aren’t satisfied.

To top it off, these companies never mention what exactly is in their creams that justifies the expense. If they do mention ingredients, they usually lack scientific backing. Don’t fall for these scam sites no matter how many “testimonials” they have or how good the before and afters look because these days it’s real easy to photoshop before and afters.  Do not waste your money and buy from these companies when there are plenty of legitimate and reputable companies online that will disclose what active ingredients are in their eye wrinkle cream, why those ingredients are there, and back up their claims with research.

Secondly, arm yourself with knowledge. If you want results, if you want to get rid of dark circles, bags, lines under the eyes, if you want younger looking eyes, you need to get familiar with the latest effective active ingredients in anti aging skincare and look for an eye wrinkle cream that contains as many of these active ingredients as possible. If a company doesn’t disclose what their active ingredients are, beware and shop elsewhere.

Here’s what you’ll want to look for in a good eye cream:

1. For Dark Under Eye Circles –> Soy Rice Peptides: Dramatically reduce dark circles & puffiness around the eyes (studies show 35% reduction after 8 weeks treatment), improve skin smoothness & texture, and improve microcirculation of the blood in the skin. 2. For the Best Anti Wrinkle Treatment –> Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 (pentapeptide): Deeply penetrating protein that stimulates collagen synthesis & actively irons out any type of wrinkle. In fact, effects on wrinkles was 350% better than placebo in clinical studies. This ingredient has excellent skin firming & moisturizing properties and is an actual alternative to collagen injections. You’ll definitely want this in your eye wrinkle cream.
3. Crows Feet Treatment –> Argireline - -> Safe Topical Botox Alternative: This is a protein that inhibits facial skin muscle tightening, which causes wrinkles formed by repeated facial expressions (frown lines, crows feet, etc). Please do not fall for an eye wrinkle cream that claims to “work in just minutes”. The damage wasn’t done to your eye area in minutes and it would be foolish to think that an eye wrinkle cream would work so fast.
