Massage Your Tired Eyes Away

If you’ve been sitting around all day looking at a computer screen and your eyes are starting to look like a commercial for clear eyes - maybe its time you treat your looky-loos to something special. 

Give yourself this super soothing eye massage and you’re on your way to looking refreshed and feeling renewed. Better yet, get someone else to do it for you! 

Here’s how:

  1. Put on some soothing music and close your eyes.
  2. Using the middle fingers, massage the bone of the eye sockets. Start right next to your nose and move the fingers up and out, following the brow bone. Return the fingers and go all the way down the side of the nose. Move the fingers back up to starting position and repeat 3 times. 
  3. With your eyes still closed, use the middle 3 fingers to lightly tap around the eyes, as if you were playing the piano. Do this for 20-30 seconds. 
  4. Massage your pressure points. Start at the inner eye area, right next to your nose. Press and massage lightly while you count to 3.  Then glide fingers just under the brow bone midpoint and massage lightly for 3 counts. Go around the eye and stop midpoint under the eyes, massage lightly for 3 counts. Glide fingers around eyes once more and stop at temples, massage for 6 counts. Repeat 3 times.
